The Clinton Comeback & Limbaugh Lunacy

Kudos to Hillary Clinton for her dramatic wins in Texas and Ohio. Why the pundits ever count her out is beyond me. After two years of seeking the office, eight years in the office, a successful senatorial campaign - why would anyone ever doubt the Clinton Machine? The expertise of their machinations is only a piece of the picture, as Senator Obama's lack of experience will continue to plague him throughout this battle for the nomination.

If more fellow conservatives start to come down with Limbaugh Lunacy, then the Democrats would be foolish not to nominate her.

Rush may say that he wants you to vote for Hillary because she's more conservative than Senator McCain. That's absolute rubbish of course, but he couldn't tell you the real reason why he wants you to vote for Hillary, but I will.

You see, if Hillary is elected, he's counting on at least four years of accomplishing nothing, even with Democrat majorities in both houses. He's counting on the same kind of hatred that has been hurled at President Bush for the past eight years to rise again into the "Hatred of all things Clinton" that we endured in the 90's. I'm not talking about their policies or actions, I'm talking about the mindless hatred that many people still feel for Bill, but even more so for Hillary. The depth of the haters knowledge is the shallow end of the pool in most cases, regardless of who it is you hate.

If John McCain is elected President, then Rush's greatest fears come true. A Republican who is willing to work together with the opposition for the betterment of the country. Rush would much rather have gridlock than have the door of true bi-partisanship unlocked.

I disagree with Senator McCain on a number of issues, but I respect him as a man, and I would trust him to do what he thinks is right, even if I don't always agree. Leadership does not require that one to be a politician; it only requires honor, honesty and dignity.

Like most nutjobs, you think you've got it all figured out. Why not open your eyes and get some self awareness of the pile of contradictions in what you write.

If Limbaugh is so bad for the country then why do you and your fellow conservatives spend so much time listening to his idiocy?

Or wait... maybe you don't listen to Rush and all you're doing is listening to the right wing pundits say what Limbaugh said?

Like most of your fellow nutjobs with blogs, you attribute motives to people that you cannot prove, and you offer no evidence of except "I said so."

Tell us mind reader of the great politicians of our day what are McCain, Hillary, et al... really thinking.

If you are going to write whatever blather comes out of mouth / brain, at least provide evidence that thinking people can assess. Otherwise, who gives a rat's ass what you think?

Dear Anonymous:

Thank you for your thoughtful critique. Since you don't appear to give a rat's posterior, or any other portion of their bodies as regards my assignation of motive, I don't expect we'll see you back here again, but you're always welcome.

Should you require specifics as to what McCain, Clinton or Obama are thinking on any particular subject, I'll be happy to give you my interpretation, all you have to do is ask.

Rush Limbaugh has done a lot for this country and for the conservative movement, but like everyone else on the planet, he's human and makes mistakes. I don't happen to agree with him on his disdain for McCain, thus the blog.

When any Mr. Anonymous has something factual he/she would like to talk about, they need only raise the subject. Ascribing motive is not always scientific, especially when the "evidence" you seek is subjective.

Well Mr. Anon doesn't seem very happy.

Sometimes I think guys like Hannity and Limbaugh don't care at all who is in office as long as they have big checks coming in.

I never liked Bush but McCain is my man.

Let's list the reasons people hate/hated Bill Clinton and the reasons people hate G.W. Bush. Then let's see which side has the most mindless reasons.

Lying about a blow job is not equivalent lying in order to start a stupid war.

I do have to say that I love your new "turn the other cheek" style of returning comments. Jesus is proud of you I'm sure.

Watson, you have certainly attacted some odd new friends. I actually like "His Bigness" although I never really know from whence he comes. Anon. however, is another kettle of fish. Apparently another Neo-lib who is just pissed off at any and everyone to the right of Michael Moore. No ideas, just more mindless vitriol.

BGA:
Anytime you look directly into the TV camera and unabashedly lie to the American people, the reason for the lie doesn't matter, as Tricky Dick found out.
And please, let's let "Bush lied" die its overdue death and burial in the field of baseless bull. The intelligence services of England, France, Russia and Germany had the same information, which was acted upon in good faith. Bush is guilty of a lot of things, his primary fault being his inability to provide leadership, but I don't believe he "lied" to get us into Iraq. Since neither one of us can prove our point either way, let's just put this old saw to bed.
Thank you for your reference to Jesus - I'm not sure how "proud" He is of me, but I do know one thing for certain - He loves you too.

Nope, won't put it to rest Watson. The congress promised to look into how intelligence was used before we went to war. They have yet to do it. But even if we grant that Bush didn't lie us into the war in Iraq, do you think Bush told any other serious lies (think torture).
